Bulldogs News · Kaden Staker breaks another Provo High School Swimming record

This past week in St George Kaden Staker broke another Provo High swimming record. Kaden now has 5 out of 8 individual Provo High swimming records.
The 500 yard freestyle is the longest of all the swimming events (20 laps). Kaden averaged 29 seconds a lap to set the record at: 4:50.13 (previously set at: 4:51.34 by Chace Harrison in 2011).
Coach Prestwich: “Kaden wanted to break the 500 record so we knew he probably would if he was feeling well – he is that good! It was just a matter of will he go 4:45 or 4:55. He went 4:50which broke the record and inspired the whole team.”
