The Bulldogs had a phenomenal meet at the BYU Invite. Everyone that competed ran faster than they have all season.
Meghan Hunter ran a 12.75 in the 100m dash taking 9th in the 3a-5a classification. She followed that by breaking the school record in the 200m dash, running a 26.47. She took 6th 3a-5a and is now ranked 2nd in 4a.
Sadie McGinn ran a personal best in the 100 and tied her personal best in the 200. Meghan and Sadie also did really well in the long jump.
Brittany Eatough ran her best 100 of the season at this meet, barely missing the state qualifying mark.
Ally Gomm ran a personal best in the 200 and 300 hurdles. Ally is now ranked 5th in 4a.
Kate Hunter placed 3rd in the 1600 running a 5:00.
The most exciting race was the girls medley. Our team of Sadie McGinn, Ally Gomm and the Hunter sisters won the event with a time of 4:08.03. That time also broke out school record and missed setting the state record by 2 seconds.
On the guys side Ty Jones took 4th in the high jump, clearing 6-04″. Thomas Pickford also ran his personal bests in the 1600 and 800.
